Licensing Fees

Licensed Trainers pay a licensing fee to the Chalmers Center to obtain a three-year license in one or both of the MWE Programs (see table below). After successfully demonstrating competency as an MWE Trainer, individuals can enroll in a Lead Trainer Certification course and are given access to additional training resources. Trainers and Lead Trainers can renew their license every three years, keeping their certification current and maintaining their access to new revisions of MWE Program materials. Trainers and Lead Trainers not seeking access to new resources may continue to use the MWE Program materials within their organization/church without paying an annual fee.

What is included in the Trainer Certification fee?

• Registration cost for four-week online course in either SCA or BHH Trainer Certification
• Guidance during self-paced field practicum
• Annual mentoring/reporting with Chalmers staff
• Three-year license fee for MWE Program
• Access to SCA or BHH curriculum for training low-income people
• Online access to training resources
• Connection to the network of MWE Trainers

What is included in the Lead Trainer Certification fee?

• Registration cost for 10-week online course in either SCA or BHH Lead Trainer Certification
• Guidance during self-paced field practicum
• Annual mentoring/reporting with Chalmers staff
• Three-year license fee for MWE Program
• Access to SCA or BHH Program facilitator’s guides
• Online access to training resources
• Connection to the network of MWE Lead Trainers

What is included in the 3-year Renewal fee?

• Continued access to all new revisions and translations of MWE Program materials
• Annual mentoring/reporting with Chalmers staff
• Online access to training resources
• Connection to the network of MWE Trainers
