Hosting/Sponsoring a Training Institute
The Christian Economic Development Institutes (CEDI) is a 5½ day-long classroom training events held at various locations throughout the world. A CEDI provides training from courses in the International Ministry Track.
Host and Co-sponsors
The Chalmers Center partners with local churches and/or national and international ministries to host a CEDI. The Chalmers Center provides the instructors and material for the training. The host partner agrees to promote the CEDI and manage the training event logistics. A CEDI co-sponsor commits to fill a number of the spots for the training and may also participate in the support and coordination of the event.
Host Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the host partner include:
- Guarantee that a minimum of 75 participants will attend the training for the entire week
- Propose potential training sites that include one large classroom and smaller classrooms along with facilities for housing and meals
- Manage on-site event logistics, including logistics for food and lodging
