We Train Churches

Using the experience and knowledge we gain from testing innovations in our pilot projects, we then train churches around the world to use these strategies on their own. Introductory training in the basic principles and practices of holistic ministry takes place in the context of our Helping Without Hurting Network and Seminars. More in-depth training on economic development strategies takes place in the context of our two licensing systems: Financial Education Ministry - International and Financial Education Ministry - United States. All of our training utilizes the leading principles and practices of adult education.

Increasingly we find ourselves testing new delivery strategies for equipping churches to use the economic development innovations we have developed. For example, the ASSET initiative in West Africa explores the use of demand-driven, social enterprises to equip grassroots churches in the Majority World to use Financial Education Ministry - International. And FREE Chattanooga explores the use of a hub-spoke system to empower churches in North America to use Financial Education Ministry - United States.
